Foster City’s Fourth of July Celebration to Feature an Array of Delectable Food Vendors

FOSTER CITY, California — June 29, 2023 — The City of Foster City, in partnership with the Foster City Lions Club and the Bair Island Cyber Lions Club, today announced that this year’s highly anticipated Fourth of July celebration will include an exciting lineup of food trucks, offering a delightful culinary experience for attendees of all ages. 

Foster City’s Fourth of July celebration has been a beloved tradition, drawing more than 20,000 residents and visitors each year to commemorate the nation’s independence. Set to take place at Leo J. Ryan Park, the event will showcase a diverse selection of gourmet food options. 

Food enthusiasts will have the opportunity to indulge in a wide variety of cuisines, ranging from classic American fare to international flavors. The participating food trucks have been carefully selected to cater to different palates and dietary needs. From grilled meats to scrumptious vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as desserts, there will be something to please every festival-goer, including these local food truck favorites:

  • Camila’s Tacos – tacos, burritos & quesadillas
  • Curry Up Now – Indian street food 
  • Curveball – burgers, sliders & fries
  • Dominic’s Food Truck – local family-owned truck with restaurant-quality food 
  • El Fuego – authentic Mexican cuisine
  • Jolly’s Old Fashioned – Teas Cream
  • Kona Ice Truck – a one-of-a-kind gourmet shaved ice experience
  • Los Kuyas – longanisa, sisig & adobo rice bowls
  • Marley’s Treats – ube, desserts & more
  • MeSoHungry Too – burgers, sliders & fries
  • Mozzeria – wood-fired Neapolitan pizza
  • Respectable Bird – chicken sandwich, tenders & waffle fries, churros
  • Satay by the Bay San Francisco – authentic Singaporean food
  • The Waffle Roost – chicken & waffles

Joining the lineup on the lawn and parking lot are select food & retail vendors and community organizations:

“We are thrilled to help provide such a diverse mix of vendors into this year’s lineup of events,” said Jim Traceski, the committee chair. “Not only does it give us the opportunity to highlight the incredible diversity and talent of our local food industry, the convenience of food trucks and tents complements the open air enjoyment of the festivities.”

In addition to the delectable food offerings, the Fourth of July celebration in Foster City will feature a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Foster City Rotary Club, a fire truck procession, a dog parade, live music performances, carnival rides, and face painting for kids. The event will culminate in a spectacular fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m.
