Peermining Launches New Mining Pool Service for Peercoin

SAN MATEO, California — February 11, 2026Peermining today announced the official launch of its new mining pool service for Peercoin, one of the world’s longest-running blockchain networks.

The platform at Peermining.org enables miners to combine SHA-256 hash power to efficiently discover blocks and share in the resulting rewards. Peermining is built on the open-source YAAMP mining pool software, selected for its proven reliability, transparency, and extensibility.  It also features an intuitive interface designed to help new miners get started quickly, while employing a PPLNS (Pay-Per-Last-N-Shares) payout model to ensure fair reward distribution.

“By leveraging YAAMP, we built and thoroughly tested the platform in less than a month, creating a reliable, high-performance mining pool from the ground up,” said XPoolX, a blockchain developer with extensive experience in designing and managing secure mining pool infrastructure.

In addition to its core mining service, Peermining offers APIs that provide programmatic access to data about the Peercoin network, mining pool participants, and payout information.

A 2% pool fee is applied to miner payouts, with all proceeds donated to the Peercoin Foundation to support the ongoing development of the Peercoin network.

“Whether you’re using a tabletop miner or a high-performance GPU, Peermining enables new and seasoned miners to collaborate with each other while contributing to the overall community,” said Wing Yu, spokesperson for the Peercoin Foundation.

Launched in 2012, Peercoin is widely recognized for its energy-efficient hybrid consensus model, which combines proof-of-work for coin distribution and proof-of-stake to secure the network.
