Two Weeks Left: A Night of Impact to Support Needy Children Worldwide at the Moms Against Poverty Gala

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.  – September 12, 2024 – In 2023, Moms Against Poverty impacted the lives of over 62,000 children and families living in poverty across the U.S. and around the world. Through our four core programs – hunger relief and basic provisions, orphan care, health care and wellness, and education – we have changed the trajectory of the lives of 2.8 million children and families Since 2008. That is the size of the population of countries like Jamaica, Armenia, Lithuania, or Albania. Unfortunately, childhood poverty continues to devastate families globally. Nearly 1 billion children are experiencing multidimensional poverty, which encompasses a lack of access to essentials like education, health care, nutrition, and clean water. That is three times the population of the United States. These are numbers that are difficult to perceive! But there is hope as organizations like Moms Against Poverty remain committed to their mission of empowering children and eradicating this “disease of poverty” that knows no borders, no colors, no race, no ethnicity, no religion.

On September 28th, we are thrilled to invite you to our 17th Annual Benefit Gala, an evening dedicated to hope, action, and the transformation of children’s lives.
