Devane Moves his Practice to Independent Channel of Wells Fargo Advisors
Oxford Harriman & Company has announced that Dennis J. Devane, MBA, CRCP has joined the private wealth management firm as its newest partner and managing director. Devane will be based in Oxford Harriman’s New York City office. Dennis believes that a long-term client relationship is built on working with an organization such as Oxford Harriman & Co. that has the knowledge, training, and resources to help clients succeed financially. Client trust is earned though integrity, hard work, a disciplined approach, and excellent service.
Devane brings over 30 years of wealth management experience to Oxford Harriman & Co. obtained via affiliations with Wells Fargo Advisors, UBS and Smith Barney. Building on an earlier finance career as a CPA (not currently practicing), with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Goldman Sachs, he has developed and refined his portfolio management and investment planning process. Most recently, Dennis was a Senior Vice President, Premier Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Manager with the Wells Fargo Advisors.
Devane was recognized as a three-time Premier Advisor (2019,2020,2021). The Premier Advisor distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on either of the past two years, and professionalism. Additional criteria, including length of service, may also be used to determine recipients. Additionally, Dennis obtained the CRPC designation from the College of Financial Planning in January 2021.

Devane will continue to proactively manage multi-generational wealth for his clients with a consultative, high touch approach, applying sophisticated techniques from the early stages of seeking investment accumulation through retirement, and the eventual transfer of wealth to the next generation. As a trusted advisor, Dennis will continue to work closely with clients to grow their wealth, striving to ensure their long-term financial and investment goals are met.
Devane obtained an MBA in Finance (1984) and a BBA-Accounting (1976) from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.
He also attended Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey (1972-1974). He was a member of Rutgers Lacrosse.
