Early Life
Sabrina Clare Galang was born into a mixed-race family, and many ups and downs marked her early life. Born nearly premature with multiple learning disabilities, she nevertheless accomplished impressive academic feats from a young age—her placement tests revealed she was operating at a Bachelor’s level of education while still a high school student. Aspiring to earn her Associate’s Degree and High School Diploma simultaneously, she enrolled in Seattle Community College. Her path took an unexpected turn as a result of an unstable home environment and, subsequently, drug abuse and homelessness. These circumstances led Galang into a series of troubling experiences, including a car accident and an overdose, which resulted in a toxic brain injury, forcing her to halt her academic pursuits at only 16.
The Beginning of Her Healing Journey
Through close friends & family such as Angel and Amy Maez, Galang became familiar with Neuro-feedback trauma therapy at Susan Ross Associates for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. It was there that she received pro-bono, post-sobriety treatment for a little over two years.
Neuro-feedback therapy is a non-invasive technique that monitors and stimulates brain activity to balance hormone production. First, a computer system receives signals from the brain. Then, the system plays music that best allows the brain to relax and readjust its production of “happy hormones.” This therapy encourages the regrowth of neuron synapses in the brain, helping those with trauma somewhat return to “normal.” Combining this treatment with Medicinal Cannabis and the help of her service animal, Prince, Miss Galang was able to re-enter society. This form of therapy was so effective that it inspired her to bring back music with healing benefits.
Galang joined a green cleaning company where they were required only to use essential oils with antibacterial properties. She quickly earned a management position, having to mix her own cleaners and sprays. This ignited her interest in herbalism and environmental sustainability; she began to learn about the different healing properties and antibacterial effects of plant matter. Later, through the years, while finding peace within herself, Galang became obsessed with herbalism and environmental sustainability and aspired to bring people products incorporating these benefits.

Continued Education & A Leap of Faith
With this newfound knowledge, Galang was determined to continue her education; Miss Sabrina Clare Galang obtained her G.E.D. through Southwest Youth and Family Services, completed in 8 business days.
Galang participated in a paid writing camp with SWYFS in her hometown of West Seattle. There, she honed her communication skills under the guidance of local Seattle artists and performed her Slam Poem “Normalcy,” inspiring the Macklemore “Normalcy Project.”
Galang took a leap of faith at 19 and moved to Los Angeles, diving into the entertainment and cannabis industries. She became a model for high-profile cannabis brands, featured with High Hemp Wraps, Church Cannabis, Snapp Dogg, Binox Ridoux, and other local Detroit artists. She also worked as a professional cannabis roller at private and professional industry events.
Galang’s spiritual journey flourished as she received high praise for her unique way of spreading The Word in a nontraditional industry. She eventually became a Coach and Spiritual Mentor for business owners and entrepreneurs, gaining a reputation as the “Ganja Goddess.” While booked at an event for Galang’s Guidance Readings, she was introduced to the Filipino-American Arts Community in Los Angeles. Through this community, she found the support necessary to travel the country and meet with the many other healers she eventually learned from. These experiences have helped her hone new knowledge of her teachings that she shares with her clients.

Alignment & Reiki Studies
In Fall 2021, Galang faced a spinal cord injury. Doctors predicted she would no longer be able to walk by the age of 25. Unwilling to accept this prognosis, Galang explored alternative medicine, including acupuncture and energy healing. Through her cannabis industry network, she met Mathew Kuchar, a former physical therapist for the Detroit Lions who specializes in Myo-Skeletal Alignment Therapy. This technique combines trigger point therapy and skeletal realignment with energy healing. Due to the practice’s dramatic healing effects, Galang felt compelled to continue sharing her knowledge with anyone who would listen. Inspired to create a One Stop Shop that offers resources, knowledge, and at-home alternatives to modern medicine, Sabrina Clare Galang founded Roothaven Botanica to provide easy access to ethically sourced ministry tools such as herbs, candles, oils, books, jewels, gemstones, and more, as well as access to her network of legitimate Spiritual Practitioners and Services.
Galang’s quest for self-discovery led her to energy healing through the Japanese method of Reiki. She received her attunement & certification in Reiki Holy Fire III under Shellena Thomas in the Great Lakes, attuned through the International Reiki Association. Galang is preparing to pursue her Reiki Holy Fire III Masters in the Fall of 2024. She is in the process of becoming a published author and releasing music; adding to the genre of “Conscious Content.” Miss Sabrina Clare Galang is determined to share her wisdom and learning journey with the world and help those in need. Galang says, “God had me go through it so I can help others do the same…” Moved by her Filipino grandfather, Cirilo Galang’s legacy in medicine, she is motivated to leave her own legacy and bring her new ideas to the medical field.
Miss Sabrina Clare Galang’s journey is a testament to her resilience and determination. From overcoming hardships to excelling in multiple industries, she inspires herself and others with her unwavering spirit and commitment to growth and self-development.
