46.2% net membership growth, expanded international business program, and a free small business resource center highlight a year the Chamber calls its turning point
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — August 5, 2026 — The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce today announced results from fiscal year 2025–2026, reporting the strongest membership and revenue growth in the organization’s history. Net membership grew 46.2 percent over the fiscal year, and total revenue grew 41.2 percent year-over-year reaching a target the Chamber’s 2025–2030 strategic plan had set for 2030, four years ahead of schedule. The results will be formally presented at the Chamber’s State of the Chamber address, Confluence Awards, and Annual Meeting on August 5.
“This was the year our Chamber stopped rebuilding and started performing,” said Shay Foley, President & CEO of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce. “We grew net membership 46.2 percent this year, and every one of those members joined because they wanted to, not because they had to. That’s the number I’m proudest of.”
International Business Program Expands Across Nine Countries
The Chamber’s international business program had its most active year yet, hosting delegations and diplomatic engagements from nine countries: Burkina Faso, the Czech Republic, Quebec, Slovakia, France, Serbia, Tanzania, Ireland, and Ukraine. Few suburban chambers in the country maintain an international program of this scope, and these engagements have positioned Johns Creek on the radar of companies and trade organizations evaluating the U.S. market — introducing global business leaders to the city’s talent, infrastructure, and quality of life, and building relationships that strengthen the region’s long-term economic development pipeline. The visits reflect a deliberate strategy: connecting local members with international partners while showcasing Johns Creek as a premier destination for global business.
Free Resources for Small Businesses
Through its Small Business Resource Center, the Chamber provided no-cost business consulting, marketing strategy, financial planning, and permitting guidance to Johns Creek businesses throughout the year — a service available to members and non-members alike. The Chamber also hosted its inaugural AI Summit in April, bringing together technology practitioners, including a former DARPA researcher, to give local business owners practical, no-cost guidance on adopting artificial intelligence tools.
Looking Ahead
The Chamber enters fiscal year 2026–2027 with more than 200 events planned, including the launch of the Grow Business Accelerator this fall, a second cohort of the Thrive Executive Development Program, and an outbound trade delegation to Ireland in spring 2027. The Chamber is also working toward U.S. Chamber of Commerce 5-Star Accreditation, a distinction held by fewer than 3 percent of chambers nationwide.
“We are not finished, and we are not even close,” Foley said. “A chamber this size isn’t supposed to do what we did this year. We intend to keep proving that wrong.”
