2024 Lincoln Nautilus Revealed

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will get a major redesign that promises to improve this mid-size crossover SUV’s style and features. It will also feature some new technologies and will likely come in a couple of different trim levels.

It appears that the model will take its design cues from the Star Concept vehicle. Images posted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show what the new version will look like.

Exterior

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is a five-seat luxury SUV that rides soft and smooth with a quiet, relaxing interior. It also comes with a choice between two turbocharged engines and a powerful plug-in hybrid.

It’s no wonder the Nautilus earns a Top Safety Pick accolade from IIHS. Standard features include an advanced suite of driver assists, including a forward collision warning system and automatic emergency braking.

As for the interior, a bigger central touchscreen replaces the previous 10-inch unit. It includes the Sync 4 infotainment system and is embedded with Alexa voice controls.

There’s also an updated steering wheel and a new Jewel Sandstone paint option for 2023. A Premium Package adds navigation, a power-adjustable steering column, and a universal garage door opener.

There’s a new grille, too. It features a matrix of star outlines that echoes the design of Lincoln’s upcoming Star Concept SUV. The Chinese-market Nautilus gets this grille and three trims, but it’s not clear whether the US will get it.

Interior

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is a modern luxury SUV that has a smooth interior, a superb ride, and a host of amenities. It has a well-designed center console that keeps everything neat and organized, while the SYNC infotainment system makes it easy to use.

Its standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine provides 250 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque for quick acceleration while returning pretty good fuel economy. The optional 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 adds more power and torque for even better performance and a more satisfying exhaust note.

As with most luxury SUVs, the Nautilus comes with a wide variety of safety features to help drivers feel safe and secure on the road. These include active lane control, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitors. You can also opt for adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and steering assist.

Performance

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is a comfortable, upscale 2-row SUV for buyers who prioritize comfort over sportiness. It’s a solid option in a competitive segment filled with luxury midsize SUVs, like the Cadillac XT5 and Lexus RX 350.

The Nautilus is also one of the more pleasant-riding luxury crossovers on the market, thanks to its responsive handling, numb ride quality and standard advanced technology. We’ve rated it a Top Safety Pick Plus for its suite of driver assists and excellent crash test scores.

The 2024 Nautilus offers plenty of standard features, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and dual-zone automatic climate control with particulate air filter. Its soft-touch cabin also features a 10-way power driver’s seat with memory and an 8-way power passenger seat, both with power lumbar support. Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available. Its standard Co-Pilot360 1.0 package offers forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist.

Technology

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus has plenty of advanced technology to keep drivers safe and comfortable on the road. The SUV features automatic emergency braking, active lane control, blind-spot monitors, and more.

It also gets an upgraded version of Co-Pilot 360 1.0 Plus with a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, and Enhanced Active Park Assist. This advanced package can pull the vehicle into parallel or perpendicular parking spots or steer it from a tight spot without hitting adjacent cars.

Besides its sleek styling and sophisticated tech, the 2024 Nautilus offers spacious seating for five passengers. It can carry more than any other luxury SUV in the segment, and it has enough space for rear-facing child seats.

The Nautilus also offers a choice between two gas engines, including a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 2.7-liter V-6. Both can be paired with an automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.
