How to Use a 36 Volt 60AH Lithium Marine Battery to Power Your Trolling Motor

If you’re looking for a marine battery to power your trolling motor, you might be considering the 36 Volt 60AH Lithium Marine battery. This type of battery is popular because of its space-saving design. But, it requires a special charger, which isn’t available with most 12V batteries. Visit https://www.lithium-battery-factory.com/ to find out how to use this kind of marine battery to power your trolling motor.

Chargex CX3660

The Chargex CX3660 is a 36 Volt 60AH Lithium Marine Battery Kit that uses Lithium Iron Phosphate – LiFePO4 Battery Technology. This plug and play battery is designed specifically for Marine and RV applications. Its 3.2V Stainless Steel LiFePO4 cells are designed to withstand extreme vibration. The battery also comes with a built-in Battery Management System, short-circuit and over-charge protection. This battery is one of the world’s most advanced lithium batteries.

The battery case is coloured and similar to many of the other models we tested. The positive and negative terminals are colour coded. There are 132 cylindrical cells in the case. Performance was good at 25A and near the rated figure at 100A and 150A. When we tried to charge the battery for five minutes at a time, we got close to the rated figure. For the most part, however, the battery performed at the rated figure.

The long-term performance of a lithium marine battery is the main advantage of this product. It is two to three times more powerful than its lead acid counterpart, and it is also about 150 pounds lighter, which reduces fuel consumption. Although lithium marine batteries are more expensive to purchase, they can last for over 5000 charges. And if you use your boat for leisure, you can even get it for 30% less than you’d pay on the newsstand.

Lithium Ion battery manufacturers

There are many benefits of lithium-ion batteries. The high energy density makes them lightweight, portable, and maintenance-free. The growing popularity of electric vehicles is expected to drive demand for lithium-ion batteries. Further, renewable energy integration will also contribute to increased demand. India, for example, plans to install 10 GWh of lithium-ion cells by 2022, while it will need 60 GWh by 2025, and 120 GWh by 2030. Regardless of the specifics, there are some things to keep in mind when making a decision to buy a lithium-ion battery.

Panasonic. This world-class company is owned by state-owned companies and private shareholders. It has been growing its annual production capacity to more than 10 GWh since its foundation in 2006. It has long maintained a dominant position in the global lithium-ion battery industry. Panasonic offers complete energy solutions. Its battery lineup includes nearly a thousand models. Its applications include consumer electronics, energy storage systems, and new energy transportation.

Regulations

The current proposed regulation, “Regulations for lithium ion battery manufacturer,” would require battery assemblers to meet stringent performance standards that resemble those of the United Nations Design for Human Health (UN-DOH). The requirement would also place burden on battery assemblers to collect, maintain, and disclose certain information. The proposed rule would require manufacturers to keep such documents at their principal place of business and within reasonable access hours and locations.

In order to comply with the new regulations, manufacturers must provide a test summary that documents that their battery or cell meets the requirements of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria for Lithium Batteries. The current Regulations for Lithium Ion Battery Manufacturer will be effective January 1, 2019.
