The world has been frozen by the novel coronavirus for the last two years. Governments have been compelled to implement complete or partial lockdowns to prevent the spread of the virus. It has tried and tested many vaccines in such a short time too. Nothing has been found out to kill the virus inside the body or cure the disease completely. Complications and mortality rates becoming not being mild makes the disease even scary. It is a matter of fact, that there is no medicine or treatment to cure the condition. Naturally the human world along with its people went into a kind of isolation. Everyone is going out of the house only in emergency conditions. Crowds, celebrations, and gatherings have been strictly banned in almost all countries. School, college, and other educational institutions have been closed for a long while. Classes are taken via the online method. Thanks to the internet, we can contact each other, study or work from home. But there are areas affected and matters of concern. Almost all the business fields are wrecked, people lost jobs and many are burdened with huge financial debt. Such drastic changes had caused severe stress and anxiety in many.
Stress management techniques are used by everyone at least once in a lifetime. Stress is unavoidable in human life. Those who are able and responsible always carry some stress along with them, mainly because they are answerable for everything. Stress and anxiety are the most seen discomforts in mental disorders. Even people with depression show stress and anxiety at some point, making the diagnosis difficult. Teenagers are most prone to mental disorders as they are in the middle of childhood and adult stages. The emotional part of the brain gets matured but the part of rational thinking is yet to develop. This leads to many behavioral problems and conflicts with parents become a common issue. Some teenagers find it difficult to find happiness in what they are or what they have. Continued comparison with others leads to even depression. Signs of depression in teenagers are very confusing as their raging physical hormones may mask the real condition. It is difficult to analyse and diagnose properly without the patient’s cooperation in such cases. Even normal teenagers go through stages of stress, anxiety, and depression at times. They need proper support, health care, and guidance.
Reasons for physical weakness may vary, from lack of nutrition like calcium deficiency to chronic diseases like cancer. A weak mind or being emotionally vulnerable may be a personality trait in many persons. But in some people, it will be a result of trauma in life such as physical abuse. In both ways, weakness is considered as a medical condition or sought medical help very rarely. Medications like mood enhancers can indeed help but they have severe adverse effects. Experts say that supplementing vitamins are found beneficial in some cases.
Finding your own strength, the Ayurvedic way
