There are a large number of fantastic, easy to use scheduling and calendar apps. I like to use the calendar on my phone and sync it with my computer in order to always have it on hand. At work I have the Google Calendar feature set up and I sync my schedule on all my calendar platforms so I do not overbook myself. I even write events and assignments down in a paper calendar because I like to make handwritten notes and checkmarks for an extra feeling of accomplishment.
